Cook with Confidence
Get into the Kitchen and Cook with Confidence!
Hey, if you think you could never learn to cook, know it’s not true! My whole adult life I made the excuse, “I don’t like cooking”, but the truth is I was afraid. I believed I’d ruin whatever I made- and it would be a waste of food and money – as I imagined my family turning their noses up at my very dry chicken and I’d end up pitching it in the garbage because even the dog wouldn’t touch it.
Biting The Bullet
But when my husband got ill, I knew I had to bite the bullet and get into the kitchen to feed him foods that would help him get well. So I embarked on my GAPS journey and my adventure with traditional cooking! And at 51, I realized how easy and enjoyable it was to prepare foods that were nutritious, delicious, and helped my husband heal! So, If I can do it, certainly you can!
Enjoying Eating Again
Eating shouldn’t make you feel guilty or something you resent. It shouldn’t be about counting calories, Ugh! Instead food should make you feel good, it should taste good, and give you a sense of pleasure, while providing the nutrition you need to gain optimal health to feel, and even look, your best.
Plus, it feels good taking back control, feeding our families with real food instead of the garbage Big Food tries to shove in our mouths.
