Fit & Fabulous Feet
If you’re struggling with fallen arches, wobbly ankles, foot pain, bunions—or just recovering from a marathon day in heels—I’ve got your back (well, your feet!). These exercises are my go-to dancer’s secrets for strong, happy feet. They’ll lift those arches, power up your toes, and melt away tension—think of it as a spa day for your soles!
These are just a few of the gems I teach in my Happy Hips & Fabulous Feet class on SPBTV – Your Holistic Living Network, and trust me, your feet will thank you. Here’s a sneak peek:
Toe Swapping:
Can’t lift that big toe solo yet? No worries—use your fingers to hold the others down while you build that strength. It’s a game-changer for keeping toes aligned and stretching them out after a heel-wearing saga.
Doming:
Imagine pulling the floor toward you with your toes, but keeping them flat, not curled. It’s like a magic trick that lifts and strengthens your arches. This is how dancers develop beautiful feet.
Rolling:
Grab a pinky ball (see my Resources page) or tennis ball and roll it gently all over the bottom of your foot. It’s like a mini massage that releases tension and loosens up that fascia—pure bliss
Bonus Tip: For all these moves, keep your foot neutral—right in the center, no rolling in or out. Imagine a “tripod foot”: one point at the ball of your pinky toe, one at the ball of your big toe, and one smack in the center of your heel. That’s your power stance!
SPBTV is gearing up to launch soon, with classes in nutrition, fitness, yoga, meditation, cooking, and more. If you’re curious, swing by here to check it out. You can sign up for my newsletter too if you want to stay in the loop and be the first to know when we go live.
