Stretch For Performance

Increasing Flexibility in Mind, Body and Spirit

Based on yoga, Pilates, fascial health, and mental training, Stretch For Performance (SFP) is a mind-body movement system that lengthens and strengthens unlike any other conditioning program out there. It has evolved out of working with, observing, and understanding how the body and mind really works.

SFP Extends beyond the muscular system and places great emphasis on the release of fascial and neural tension. This supports fluid movement, joint health, increased strength, flexibility, endurance, balance, posture and mobility (especially in the hips).  This movement system offers a much needed break from the stress, strain and tension that we place on our bodies.

Based on my training dancers at my performing arts school, Studio Sharise, I created Stretch For Performance to help dancers meet the technically challenging aspects of dance with ease, free from pain and injury. Offering dancers a much needed break from the demands that high level training and repetitive movements have on their bodies.

I now bring my Stretch For Performance class to you!

The benefits of my Stretch For Performance classes are not only physical, with the addition of practices such as prayer, meditation and sound healing, they are designed to take you through stages of mental and emotional growth. The results are increased confidence, resilience, self-acceptance and expression, passion and creativity.

Avoiding comparison and competition, participants are encouraged to tune-in on how they feel, not on how they look. Getting in touch with the physical and emotional sensations they experience during their practice and allowing adjustments needed to meet their personal, individual needs.

Classes are created in an environment where all can find inspiration, experience success, and help you move closer to the truest version of yourself.
